What is this platform?
This platform is a place for people to share real stories about carjacking and how it has impacted them or their communities. The goal is to bring awareness to the issue and push for stronger action.
Who can submit a story?
Anyone. Whether you’ve experienced a carjacking, witnessed one, or are concerned about safety in your community, your voice matters.
How do I submit my story?
You can upload a short video through our contest page. Just record your experience or perspective and send it in.
What should I include in my video?
Keep it simple and real. Talk about:
- What happened (if applicable)
- How it affected you or your community
- Why you think this issue needs attention
How long should my video be?
We recommend keeping videos between 30 seconds and 2 minutes. Short and direct is more impactful.
What happens if my story is selected?
If your story is selected, we may reach out to invite you to participate in a short follow-up interview. This would typically be done over Zoom and is completely optional.
